Black and white photograph of the Pitt Street Bridge which crossed the Tar River in Greenville, N.C. On the back of this photograph is "built 1907--Crossed Tar River at end of Pitt St." In pencil is written "New Iron Bridge across Tar River, Greenville NC." In the middle of the photograph, a Black man can be seen looking out over the river. Date approximated.
