This book stresses the importance of primary education, as well as providing strategies for teachers. It includes clear instruction on how to teach the basics of elementary education. Part II has title: "Biographical sketches of teachers, graduates and undergraduates of the Institute for Colored Youth." Joyner Rare copy is inscribed on front fly-leaf: "Presented by Bishop L.J.
