Advertisement for Ayer's Sarsaparilla (2 cards) depicting a lovely young woman in a pink dress holding a young child on her right shoulder with both hands. The caption at the bottom reads: Ayer's Sarsaparilla Gives Health and Sunny Hours. There are two cards. In the first, there are pink bows on the dress and the background is lighter. In the second, there are gold bows on the dress, and the scene is sunnier. The reverse of the card states that Ayer's Sarsaparilla is a "Compound Concentrated Extract composed of the Sarsaparilla-root of the tropics, Stillingis, Yellow Dock, Mandrake, and other roots ... are chemically united in Ayer's Sarsaparilla with the Iodide of Potassium and Iron, forming by far the most economical and reliable blood-purifying medicine that can be used." It will dislodge Scrofula from you system. Prepared by Dr. J.C. Ayer & Co., Lowell, Mass.
