Dr. Edwin W. Monroe worked in Greenville, N.C. as a general internist. He was also a medical educator and administrator at East Carolina University. Dr. Monroe played an important leadership role in founding a medical school at ECU. In this interview, he discusses the founding of Brody School of Medicine and the other major players involved in creating the school. Approximately 93 minutes.
