Dear Scott,

I was hoping I would have a few quiet moments to call you
and talk to you without an audience, but we have been quite
busy here and my time alone was not to be.

I wanted to let you know that am no longer going to be em-
ployed by the Crystal Coast Amphitheatre, as of September
3rd. There is serious doubts that they will have enough
money to continue another year. My unpaid earnings continue
to mount and this bothers them. It isn't too easy on me
either, but I have been willing to wait to help keep things
afloat. So, I guess I will soon join the ranks of the un-
employed. Hopefully, something will come my way, as I begin
my search for riches in Carteret County.

My main reason for writing you is not to tell you that I

am no longer going to be working here, but to give you time
to find someone else to serve on your personnel policy panel
in the upcoming conference.

It has been a thrill being a part of the world of outdoor
drama and I will really miss the fellowship and the excite-
ment, which has become a part of my life over the past two
years. Thanks for all your help and counsel. I really
appreciated your interest and help.

Sincerely,

Ke

Bernie Whalley
