Euchred: The process book

Title
Euchred: The process book
Description
Graphic design by Calill Dickerson for Spring 2014 in ART3210. Euchred: The process documents the process of creating a euchre card deck and a website dedicated to teaching users the game of euchre. I collaborated with other designers to with the goal of teaching the user how to play the game of Euchre via abstract and concrete learning styles. In the game of euchre, the Jack is the highest-ranking card that the user can play. This is why I chose the letter “J” to be the most dominant element of the book cover. Throughout the book, I have decided to display my group’s process work from start to finish with few words and large images to keep the viewer’s interest. Along with the clean aesthetic, the book’s design mimics the euchre card’s simple design.
