An overgrowth of morose

Title
An overgrowth of morose
Description
Painting by Jacob Baysden for Spring 2015 in ART4560. Acrylic/oil. Images I recollected from seeing my father pace around the house while in pain during his last few months alive. The spreading of cancer cells in the same space closing in on him. The optimism that is emerging from the darkness of the hallway. Showing the obliviousness attributed to the world going on outside, peaceful and serene. The depression/reflection/loneliness stage.
