CSI maritime archaeology poster

Title
CSI maritime archaeology poster
Description
Graphic design by Rochelle McCain for Fall 2014 in ART4205. This poster, which was a team collaboration, is a product of research-based design. The client, University of North Carolina Coastal Studies Institute, was in need of visual material for their maritime archaeology program. The poster is targeted toward non-researchers, such as viewers at U.N.C. CSI and at the Nags Head Wreck location. The wreck illustration is used to draw in spectators, while the detailed images educate the viewer about the wreck. The context was rewritten to appeal to a broader range of people.
