Sculpture: figurative by Jaesung Lee for Fall 2014 in ART3720. Mortar, steel rods, mesh wire, concrete. Due to the social tension created by the unstoppable social transformation and drastic globalization, an individual in a contemporary society perceives the high degree of insecurity. The term, anomie, was introduced by sociologist Emile Durkheim to describe a social instability resulting from a breakdown of social standards and value.
