Description
Enamels by Michelle Verhoeven for Fall 2014 in ART3500. Copper, enamel, P-1 overglaze. Formed copper vessel with dapped feet to give lift off of a surface. There are two thin layers of white liquid enamel, over-fired, and one thin layer of clear transparent liquid enamel. The orange color seen in the various fish is where the copper bowl shows through the the white enamel, protected by the clear enamel. The design was created around the idea of what shapes could be seen in the enameled base..
