- Jewelry by Tara Leigh Locklear for Fall 2009 in ART4311. Cast cement, sterling silver, found hand faceted glass. Unbridled Royalty was designed not for the faint at heart. It is a piece made to evoke grandeur by the wearer. Upon taking a closer view of the neck piece, the viewer becomes aware of the material used to create the illusion of preciousness. What typically would be set in a regal neck piece might consist of rubies, diamonds or sapphires. Instead this piece houses recycled glass and cement giving a clear sustainable voice to it's presence on the body. Sterling silver gives the strength to hold the pieces into place with simple fabrication.
