- Digital imaging by Casey Nicole Boone for Spring 2012 in ART4250. I am no expert marksman. I am the descendant of many who have been before me and am engulfed in a people that have such talents. Eastern North Carolina has been my home for over 24 years. Its people and culture have become the subject for my series, Amendment II. These documentary style portraits focus on the individual as an owner, an enthusiast, or a pragmatist. Though many of these objects of ownership may not be publicized in daily life, they act as heirlooms or rights of passage. Each image is meant to be a defining moment of a proud possessor. No judgement passed, only a captured moment of an embedded culture that I have attempted to uncover.
