Amidst who I am and what I will become

Title
Amidst who I am and what I will become
Description
Mixed media by Paul Scott Nissenbaum for Fall 2011 in ART3562. Lenox Paper, Watercolor Paper, Acrylic, Charcoal, Thread, Pins. This collage is separate from my installation, "My Paradigm Shift," and is a hybrid between my older figurative work and newer abstract work.  It represents the moment between letting going of my closeted self and who I see as myself in the future.  It is a peaceful fall away from the tendril mass.  In some ways I am falling out of a shell and becoming free and independent of my past insecurities.
