Print: fine art by Cabell Kristine Johnson for Spring 2012 in ART4250. Archival Inkjet Print. Roxy Theatre Greenville, NC. Theatre was operating from around 1950 until 1955. It was an African American theatre, operated by the Booker T. Theaters chain. The “ROXY” letters have been removed from the marquee and the “R” on the marquee front has been altered to a “F”.

My ba d rehearsed in the Roxy in around 1975. Had some parties &jam sessions there, too. The play Pirates of Penzance was staged in the Roxy at about the same time. It was a great event!
