83 page typed transcript done by Ronald W. Waldby in 1995 of his World War II diaries. (The period covered in the diary is from September 1942 to October 1945.) Waldby served as a gunner's mate second class aboard USS Steady (AM-118). Preceding the diary is information about USS Steady's service history. For his service in the Navy, Waldby received an honorable discharge and six battle stars.
