Towboat Belfont
Glass negative of a towboat named “Belfont” moored to the shore of a river. Belfont was built by the Marietta Manufacturing Company for the Indiana Belfont Transportation Company. Name later changed to “R.H. McElroy” by new owner Pure Oil Company of Chicago, Ill.
