C. Heber Forbes Store sold ladies fashions.....known for high quality and up-to-date fashion. It was located on Evans St. Its owner, C. Heber Forbes, lived on Cotanche St. His beautiful home and breath-taking landscape was demolished for the location of what is now McDonald's facing Tenth St.

Mr. Forbes was my Grandfathers first cousin. my grandfather was Lloyd Tucker. My Aunt, Louise Tucker, worked at that store for many years.
