- Expense record of money paid by S. [Shadrach] I. Wooten to the Wayne County (N.C.) Superior Court for the guardianship of James Yadkin Joyner and John P. Joyner. The Joyners were the sons of Shadrach Wooten's sister, Sarah (Sallie) Wooten Joyner. Orphaned, the boys were raised by their grandfather Council Wooten and in later years by their uncle Shadrach Wooten.
