DR John K Wooten was my uncle , brother to my mother Kathleen E Dail. I can recall all the hours my Uncle out in researching the lineage of my family on their side. I also recall many discussions that I had with him about what he had found and was fortunate that not too long before he died he made a complete copy of everything he had found and give to me. It only came natural that he would donate these papers to a place such as ECU library so that others could read and learn because that was who he was. He was all about people of all ages getting a descent and proper education
