Photographic print of James Redding Rives II in World War I military uniform seated in studio with landscape background; postcard on verso annotated by Ralph Hardee Rives. James Redding Rives II served as a private in the 318th Ambulance Company, 305th Sanitary Train, 80th Infantry Division (National Army), of the American Expeditionary Force in France. A note on the back of the photo states that the picture was most likely taken at Camp Lee in Virginia.
