Change of duty orders for Major B. R. Kennon
Description
Order papers for Major B. R. Kennon to report for duty at Headquarters, Hospital Centre, Toul, France, to serve as a consultant in ear, nose, and throat surgery. Major Beverley R. Kennon, a member of the U.S. Army Medical Reserve Corps, worked in the fields of ophthalmology and otolaryngology during World War I. Kennon received an M.D. from the University of Virginia in 1893 and was commissioned in 1917. He served at several posts, including Camp Lee, Petersburg, Va., and Camp Hancock, Augusta, Ga.
