Letter from T.D. Crawford to his father
Two page handwritten letter from T. D. Crawford in Darien, Ga. to his father in Virginia. The letter briefly discusses business matters, such as the effect of the Civil War's blockade on the naval stores industry and the lowering cost of turpentine. Of particular interest is the post script of July 23rd, which discusses the recently received news of the First Battle of Bull Run.
