This is the Shell service station located at the corner of Third and Cotanche Streets. The tall building in the background is the back side of that was then the Proctor Hotel, now the Self-Help Credit Union building. The Shell station was the location of Matita's Dress Shop for several years after the station closed. In 1983 the building was renovated into a law office and is now the location of Horne and Horne, PLLC, Attorneys at Law.
