Letter from W. J. Bryce in New York to Captain Thomas Sparrow of North Carolina. Bryce says that he has procured the articles that Sparrow needs and will try to deliver them during the day. Bryce also offers to find any other articles that they forgot to request.
The Civil War correspondence relates the activities of Thomas Sparrow and his Washington Grays from their formation as a volunteer company in April of 1861, until their parole from a Union prison in February, 1862.
