Letter from George Attmore Sparrow to his father Thomas Sparrow from Green Wreath, a plantation house in Pitt County, NC. George writes to his father about sending some food including a barrel of vinegar and a barrel of peas. He asks for a barrel of flour at about $9.00 to use for himself and for his farm hands. George adds that his farm is progressing splendidly.
