Demill to Captain Thomas Sparrow written from Washington, N.C. informing him that the Ladies of Washington's recently formed Military Working Society has passed resolutions supporting the men's involvement in the war and offering them their services by making clothes, bandages, or whatever else the soldiers might need. A meeting with Captain Sparrow is also requested at Lafayette Hall to confirm exactly how the ladies of the Military Working Society can help support the troops.
