Description
Wrights airship is total wreck after flight of 8 miles published in the Virginian-Pilot. The article describes a flight which wrecked the Wright brothers airplane on the beach at Kill Devil Hill with Wilbur Wright flying the plane. The wreck was caused by a lever which did not regulate the plane's descent.
