- Advertisement for Wheat Bitters depicting a young man bringing a giant size open bottle of Wheat Bitters to a Greek statue of a sitting man with his left arm outstretched. The saying at the bottom of the picture is: "Take it - Thy aches and ills shall vanish!" The reverse of the card has the heading: "Wheat Bitters Cures Malaria." It is stated that Wheat Bitters perfects digestion, quickens blood circulation, strengthen the entire system, and helps resist disease including malaria, fever and ague, intermittent fever, and kidney and liver troubles.
