Advertisement for Prof. Horsford's Acid Phosphate depicting the the face of a lovely girl with curly hair. She is wearing a hat and her clothing has ruffles at the neck. In tiny print at the bottom of the picture are the words: Copyrighted 1884, Rumford Chemical Works. The reverse of the card states that "this preparation of the phosphates of lime, magnesia, potash and iron with phosphoric acid" is "for dyspepsia, mental and physical exhaustion, nervousness, weakened energy, indigestion."
