Advertisement for Hall’s Vegetable Sicilian Hair Renewer depicts a young lady in a long white dress with long flowing dark hair standing in the woods. At the bottom right of the card a caption reads: Improves the growth and restores the youthful color and beauty of the hair. The reverse of the card states that Hall’s Vegetable Sicilian Hair Renewer cures diseases of the scalp, restores faded or gray hair to its natural color, prevents baldness, and cleanses the scalp of impurities and helps rejuvenate glands to grow healthy hair. The card also advertises Buckingham’s Dye for the Whiskers that will color the beard brown or black. Both prepared by R.P. Hall & Co., Nashua, N.H. and sold by all dealers in medicines.
