- The front of this cards depicts a girl wearing a hat and bonnet sitting in a red armchair and reading a newspaper. The newspaper reads 'after reading I am convinced that Murdock's Liquid Food will make blood faster than all preparations known and that will cleanse the system of disease'. At the bottom left corner are the words: "Copyright 1890 by A.L. Murdock". The reverse of the card discusses the value of nutrition as found in Murdock's Liquid Food. It cites that effectiveness was confirmed by mortality rates obtained from the Free Surgical Hospital for Women in Boston. The price listed is $1.00 express paid for twelve (12 oz.) ounces.
