Description
An engineer at the control console of the Voice of America's receiving relay station in Greenville Tuesday. President Reagan said in his recent radio address he would like to see federal funds made available to modernize the 1960 vintage equipment. VOA headquarters in Washington, D.C. sends the radio programs to Greenville via microwave and then the signals are beamed to more than 105 million listeners around the world.
