At the Tax-gatherings at the following places, the Democratic speakers mentioned below will address the people on the political issues of the day:

CASTALIA.—July the 18th; S. T. Williams, W. H. Avera and Jacob Battle.

GRIFFINS.—July the 19th; S. T. Williams, W. H Avera, and Jacob Battle.

WHITAKER'S MILL.—July the 20th; S. T. Williams, W. H. Avera and Jacob Battle.

STONY CREEK.—July the 21st; Dossey Battle, J. E. Lindsey.

COOPER'S.—July the 22nd; D. Battle, Dr. T. C. Powell and J. E. Lindsey.

NASHVILE.—July the 24th; D. Battle, Jno. W. Blount.

MANNINGS.—July the 25th; S. T. Williams, H. C. Bourne and Jno. W. Blount.

FERRILLS.—July the 26th; S. T. Williams, H. C. Bourne and J. E. Lindsey.

JACKSON.—July the 27th; S. T. Williams and H. C. Bourne.

LEWIS JOYNERS.—July the 28th; D. Battle, Dr. T. C. Powell and J. E. Lindsey.

BAILEYS.—July the 29th; T. S. Kenan, Capt. R. W. Joyner and H. G. Williams.

A cordial invitation is extended to any other Democrats than those above named to attend the above meetings and discuss the issues of the day.

Time will be divided with Republican canvassers B. H. Bunn will attend such of the above meetings as he can find convenient. B. H. BUNN, Chairman Co. Ex. Committee. A. P. Chalk, Assistant Secretary.
