Description
Film of various houses and other buildings in a rural setting. Film begins with a wide exterior shot of a small one-story wood house, with two Black men sitting on the porch. Next shown are a small outbuilding, a closer shot of two side-by-side wood houses, and a panning shot of a road and several houses and outbuildings, followed by a close shot of the two Black men from the first shot. Next a Black man and woman speak with the two men and then walk out of the frame, then they are shown getting out of a car and being invited in to a one-story brick house by another Black man. Last is a sequence showing the interior of a house and some people. This segment is underexposed and details are hard to make out. 16mm Black and White Positive, Silent, 25 feet, 2009 National Film Preservation Foundation Grant. Dates approximated.
