Letter from William Blount Rodman III to W. B. Midgett

7 September 1955

Mr. and Mrs. W. B. Midgett

Bath,

North Carolina

Dear Bill:

You and Mrs. Midgett are generous. Christopher Gale will be happy to come back to life and preside over his manor and dispense hospitality for you.

Seriously, you and the other citizens are indeed doing a fine job of arranging for the celebration, I think Beaufort County has a right to be proud of what you are doing. I look forward with much pleasure to being there and enjoying the occasion with my friends.

Helen directs me to also express appreciation for your courtesy to her.

Best wishes.

Sincerely,

WBR:la
