I was delighted to see that you selected “CHILDREN AT A V-E PARADE” on May 5, 2011. It was taken by our Regimental Photographer (361st Engineer Special Service Regiment) and sold to members of the Regiment. I was too busy marching in the victory parade to have taken the charming photo. I did not get hold of a camera until we landed in Japan, where the 361st served in the Army of Occupation. The collection I contributed is all about my time spent in the Regiment and about what we saw and did. Sincerely, Simon Baker, Professor Emeritus, Geography Dept.
