Today is the day after the most terrifying event I will ever see in history in my lifetime. Yesterday morning was a usual beautiful day here in Greenville, NC, but in NYC and Washington DC life as we know it was literally collapsing before our own eyes. I was shocked, outraged, and in a total state of disbelief. I had and do have so many questions and so much anger inside of me. Thousands, millions are affected by this heinous act of destruction and I want to see America show them what we are all about. I want America to stand together as the great nation we truly are and overcome this. It's so very scary to know how something so destructive and devastating could slip past the so-called protection of society. I fear for my boyfriend who lives in Goldsboro near a huge military base Seymour Johnson. I feel and mourn for the people we have lost and the family and friends who are mourning over them. Some people argue we wont go to war. I argue we ARE IN A STATE OF WAR. I do not underestimate or fear America at war is at risk. I feel we are the strongest country there is and have too many other countries on our side. I am so damn upset that someone, followers, and all cheer in the street while thousands of innocent American lives were taken away in an instant. I get so mad as I

hold my friends who can barely stand when they get a phone call that they cannot get in touch with family members who work in NYC. I hold them while they cry and can't understand a crime as sick as this. Selfish, but true I thank God I do not have a military family who might leave me to go to war. I can't even imagine the heroicness it took for the rescue workers to take their own lives for the people trapped inside. I can only imagine the fear of the people aboard the planes that were hi-jacked. I pray for everyone in America and I pray for BUSH to make the right decisions. No one can explain this, no one has answers but I want justice if that is even possible. Nothing can repair this world from the event that occurred on Sept. 11, 2001.
