Greetings. Brian Colona here. I am the son of Edward Russell Colona who served aboard the USS New York (BB-34) during WWII. He was on the ship at both Iwo Jima and Okinawa. My sister and I run the reunion for the ship and this year's reunion will be held in Virginia Beach, VA during October 18-21, 2012. I am interested in discussing the possibility of having portions of your collection sent to the 2012 reunion for display. I think these men who served aboard the ship would be thrilled to see some of the amazing things I see included in the inventory posted on your site. If there is a group of people in this world that should get the chance to see this material, it's this group. You can reach me via email ( BCC@vitol.com ) or phone ( 713-230-1010, M-F, 8am-6pm CDT ). I look forward to hearing from you. Regards, Brian Colona
