      Newspapers, 1968-19986 items; Bertie Ledger-Advance special historical issues (1968, 1972) and Virginian Pilot historical sections (1972-1973) contain information on the 250th anniversary of Bertie County and the bicentennial of the town of Windsor. A 1998 clipping from the Roanoke-Chowan's Shopper describes the Hardy House near Colerain, Bertie County, N.C.
