A question While searching through the archives of the School of Oriental and African Studies in London, I came across two reports by Eugene Barnett from the early 1930s in which he describes the Japanese invasion of Manchuria, the reasons behind it and repercussions. The reports are both marked "Confidential" and "Not for Publication". There is however no information attached to this report to describe which organization it was written for, or to what purpose it was written. Does anyone know?
