The Records of the Regional Development Institute contain published reports, correspondence, survey data, publications, newsletters, and video files related to the efforts of the Regional Development Institute at East Carolina University.
As part of the East Carolina University Office of Economic Development, the Regional Development Institute (RDI) is housed in the Thomas Willis Building. The RDI provided sustainable community and economic development techincal advice, project implementation guidance, student service learning, and scholarly engagement to local, state, and regional entitites to foster the growth of a modern economy.
Collection contains information related to the operation of the Regional Devleopment Institute (RDI) at East Carolina Univeristy. Divided into 40 series, the records contain correspondence, reports, publications, survey data, and video files related to the efforts of the RDI to promote sustainable economic development in eastern North Carolina.
