Scale: 1 inch = 25 Milliaria Germanica [German miles]. English & Latin language. One sheet, printed map. 8" x 12.5" [203 x 317 mm]. 1 item. 1 p. (ca. 0.001 cubic feet) Recd. 1/08/2010. Notes: Revision of Hondius' 1606 map in Atlas sive Cosmographicae, retaining all the Indian village names. Based upon the work of John White and Jacques LeMoyne, as interpreted by De Bry's maps. Predates John Smith's contribution and the settlement of Jamestown. He has relocated LeMoyne's lake to Florida to accommodate the St. May (St. Johns) River. Map shows the influence of Wytfliet and Ribaut. Description of the Coast from Florida to New Found Land: Hondius his Map of Florida, pp. 869-870.
