This collection is the account book for Dr. Robert H. Wyche between 1865 and 1869.

Biographical/historical information

Robert Henry Wyche was born 1823 September 9 in Brunswick County, Virginia to James and Pamela (Evans) Wyche. He graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with his degree of medicine in 1852. Dr. Wyche lived in Cape Fear, Chatham County, North Carolina for several years where he practiced medicine. In 1868, he married Julia Louise Turner and they had Wilfred Edgar, Herbert Augustus, Bertha (Gaither), Pamela (Allen), and Julia Lillian (Howell). He died 1904 March 4 in Iredell County, North Carolina.
