  • Biographical / Historical Note
     

    Gerald J. Prokopowicz specializes in Public History and the Civil War era at East Carolina University. A graduate of the University of Michigan and Harvard, he has served as chairperson of the East Carolina Department of History and as a faculty member in the public history program. He is a member of the Advisory Board to the Abraham Lincoln Bicentennial Commission and the Lincoln Forum.
