President John F. Kennedy visited East Carolina College during his 1960 campaign. He was assassinated in Dallas, Texas in November 1963 by Lee Harvey Oswald. He was succeeded as President by Lyndon B. Johnson.
Collection contains teletype press releases related to events surrounding the assassination of President John F. Kennedy in Dallas, Texas in November, 1963.
