With only minor temporary changes in name and format, the ECU Report served as the primary newsletter of the Alumni Association from 1979-2001. It was replaced by East Magazine beginning in Fall 2001.

From 1970-2001, the ECU Alumni Association produced the ECU Report in order to keep friends and alumni of the school abreast of developments.
