Biographical/historical information
The Maritime Studies Program is a graduate level program that specializes in maritime history and nautical archaeology. Created in 1982 and housed in the Department of History within the Thomas Harriot College of Arts and Sciences, the program is one of two graduate level maritime history programs in the United States.
