In August 1974, Captain Ashby D. Elmore and 1st Lieutenant Steven D. Ellis, U.S. Air Force, undertook a series of interviews with officers and enlisted men who served with them in Vietnam. These men recount their experiences, provide reactions to life in Vietnam during the war, and comment on the military situation as they saw it.
