Crown watermark on verso. Vivid outline hand coloring in shades of green, purple, yellow, and blue, ca. 19th century. Matted. Best West Coast map to date. Shows California as part of the mainland. Originally published in de Laet's Beschrijvinghe van West-Indien (1630). Purchased from Richard B. Arkway (8/6/2002); Appraised by Lynn Roundtree (Armadillo Books, 8/31/2002).
