Biographical/historical information

Charles B. Walton was born 1867 September 27 in Wake County, North Carolina to Joseph and Mary Frances (Holland) Walton. He graduated with his doctorate in medicine in 1893 from the College of Physicians and Surgeons in Baltimore, Maryland. About 1895, Walton married Ora Elizabeth Minshew and they had one son, Charles. After Ora's death, in 1897 Walton married Frances "Fannie" Howard and they had two sons, Harry Howard and James. He died 1914 April 20 in Pinehurst, North Carolina.
